From restaurant displays to global collectibles
Japanese Food Sample Craft Since 1973
Founded in 1973 in Kawasaki, we have been crafting realistic food samples for over 50 years. What began with displays for restaurants, sushi shops, and beer halls has grown to include projects for media, theme parks, exhibitions, and hands-on workshops.
Since launching our webshop in 2020, our miniature creations have reached customers around the world, sharing the unique culture of Japanese food samples beyond Japan. Now under second-generation leadership, we continue to honor our tradition while exploring new ways to bring this craft to a global audience.

Every piece tells its own story
Handcrafted Originals, One of a Kind
All of our food samples are handmade to order, created in close collaboration with each client. Because every step is done by hand, no two pieces are ever exactly alike—just as no two dishes prepared by different chefs are identical. This subtle variation is what gives our work its authentic, lifelike quality.
Our webshop items are also individually handcrafted. Small irregularities, a slight curve or shift, are part of their charm and warmth—qualities machines can never replicate. Each piece carries the maker’s unique touch, making it truly one of a kind.
Whether for custom projects or webshop products, what unites them is the spirit behind the craft: to create something original, meaningful, and designed to bring joy to those who hold it.

Honoring craftsmanship, preserving tradition

he City of Kawasaki awards the title of “Kawasaki Meister” to outstanding artisans whose exceptional skills contribute to industry and community life. To date, only a select group of craftspeople across fields such as engineering, clothing, food, and housing have received this distinction.
